AdSense for Feeds

In May 2005, Google announced a limited-participation beta version of AdSense for Feeds, a version of AdSense that runs on RSS and Atom feeds that have more than 100 active subscribers. According to the Official Google Blog, "advertisers have their ads placed in the most appropriate feed articles; publishers are paid for their original content; readers see relevant advertising—and in the long run, more quality feeds to choose from.
AdSense for Feeds works by inserting images into a feed. When the image is displayed by a RSS reader or Web browser, Google writes the advertising content into the image that it returns. The advertisement content is chosen based on the content of the feed surrounding the image. When the user clicks the image, he or she is redirected to the advertiser's website in the same way as regular AdSense advertisements.
AdSense for Feeds remained in its beta state until August 15, 2008, when it became available to all AdSense users.



AdSense for mobile content

AdSense for mobile content allows publishers to generate earnings from their mobile websites using targeted Google advertisements. Just like AdSense for content, Google matches advertisements to the content of a website — in this case, a mobile website.

AdSense for domains

Adsense for domains allows advertisements to be placed on domain names that have not been developed. This offers domain name owners a way to monetize domain names that are otherwise dormant. Adsense for domains is currently being offered to some users, with plans to make it available to all in stages.

Answer: Google provides an informational number, they do not provide live representative support. They do provide email support but they are VERY limited on what they will reply to.

Question: Why was my Google AD Sense account disabled?
Answer: Google will send you an email stating the reason your account was disabled.

Question: Do I meet Google's registration rules?
Answer: Google looks for, Age (18+), Website (6 Months or older). They will ask you for such questions as: Social security number/Tax ID, address (Valid), phone number (Valid)

Question: How much does Google Pay per AD click?
Answer: Google's Pay per click commission can range anywhere from 1 Cent - $5.00 depending on the type of AD usually an AD click is worth 5-50 Cents

Question: Google Shows people clicked my AD but I received no commission? Why so...
Answer:Google uses many algorithms to determine if the click was a valid click such as, amount of time spent on website, number of times user click Ad's. If you were not credited the AD was most likely marked as an "invalid click"

Question: I applied for Google-AD Sense how long would it take for a apply?
Answer: Usually 3-7 Days. (May vary)

Question: My account gotten disabled... Can I apply again?
Answer: No, never.

Question: What if someone from my IP clicks my AD but it was not clicked from me.. What will happen?
Answer: If Google found this is being done, they will block you for "invalid click activity" my suggestion; Block your IP from AD sense clicking.

Question: My site is viewed by friends & family..We live close, what will happen if Google thinks majority of my clicks are coming from my city/state and think it's me?
Answer: I understand this can be tough, my suggestion make sure your audience is aware about this issue and make sure they ONLY click on the AD if they LIKE it.

Question: If my AD sense account's get disabled will my site be removed from Google Search Engine?
Answer: No, you will only be removed from AD Sense.

Question: How many "Invalid" clicks can I do before I get banned?
Answer: Google does not provide a precise amount, I suggest make sure you do not click your own Ad's.

iHome goes upscale with new Studio Series iP1 iPod/iPhone audio system

The iP1 Studio Series Model has “museum quality” speakers, which apparently means they are made up of smoked acrylic. It is nice to know that someone has finally made an iPod dock that looks like a boom box. After all, iPod and iPhone docks are a dime a dozen, but the iP1 looks like an iPod dock on crack.

According to the specs, these speakers are “100 watt class D biamplified architecture with Bongiovi sound processing through twin 4-inch woofers and matched 1-inch dome tweeters”. If you aren’t familiar with Bongiovi, he is a music producer, and the second cousin of Jon Bon Jovi. Yes, Tony Bongiovi invented the Acoustics Digital Power Station, “an active digital signal processor that the company says makes the MP3s sound better”.



This Digital Power Station is on the iP1. Other features include GSM shielding for the iPhone, and a video out port in case you want to watch video from the iPod or iPhone.

The iHome Studio Series iP1 will be available in July, for a projected retail price of about $300.

Fujitsu Siemens Computers has introduced a new range of professional notebooks, all of which have integrated 3G connectivity.

The Esprimo series of laptops, which will go on sale in August, has three models, ranging from the 12.1-inch U9200 ultraportable to the 15.4-inch D9500 desktop replacement model. All are based on Intel Core 2 Duo chipsets and feature wide screens.


Notebooks with integrated 3G have become more common over the past year and, at one point, the technology was even due to be included in Intel's Santa Rosa processing platform. However, talks between Intel and Nokia broke down, leaving the inclusion of such technology up to individual computer manufacturers. Intel is widely expected to include mobile WiMax connectivity instead in the next generation of its chipsets.

Dieter Herzog, executive vice president of infrastructure products at Fujitsu Siemens, said the Esprimo notebooks are "tailor-made for business people who do not want to lose out on any office comforts while traveling"--a feature made possible by the machines' integration of 3G connectivity.
